The Moon is my Sun

Xotl really loves the moon ok? ;w; He feels they have a lot in common. idk, Xotl's a very poetic demon, I don't know what he means by that.

He really loves the moon because of a lot of reasons. The main one being that it steals the light from the sun, so in his mind the moonlight is the sunlight that he craves, just without the warmth that he wants. Another being that without the moon, everything would be thrown off balance. He finds it incredible that the moon controls the tides of the water he so loves. vuv

I just really wanted to draw him like this with one of his tail spades overlapping the moon. It was pretty fun. The original was actually supposed to be rotated where he was at the top and looked like he was curling around the moon, but it seemed just a little more appealing to the eye with it angled this way instead.
